Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2019

A new video is up on my channel! I am really bad at being consistent but anyhoo… I went to the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival this year which is held at Kala Ghoda, Mumbai annually. And I thought I would make an artistic video out of it too, showing my perspective of the festival.

” You’ll be doing things you don’t like doing in order to go on living, that is to go on doing things you don’t like doing, which is stupid. ” Alan Watts

I love this quote and the speech What if Money were no Object by Alan Watts. As I was scanning through the art displayed at the festival by different talented artists, I wondered to myself it must be so difficult for them to put a price tag on something that they created with their sheer talent and intellect. I know it is hard for me. And then I thought well I want to be so rich that when I like an artists work whatever that may be I never ask them for it’s price and be able to purchase it giving them exactly what they feel they deserve for their work.

This inspired me to incorporate the speech in the video and also to support all the artists who follow what makes them passionate. Who are doing things they love doing. Who choose to believe in their art more than anything. Unfortunately, I couldn’t purchase anything from the stalls as I was keen on filming and my indecisive ass wouldn’t help me too. But it was my first time going to this festival and now that I know what to expect I am prepared to invest more time next year and maybe make a few purchases then.

It was an amazing experience and I hope everyone who watches the video enjoy it too. I am really focusing on creating videos with similar aesthetics and hope if you watch it and like it, you will subscribe for more! Thanks!
